Changed backends!

heya once again,

I'm still doing good and have just actually managed a get past my first complete week of school, so it's been fun.

If you've noticed the layout of the blog being a little different then you'd be correct, i've managed to find some free(!) hosting called w10.host, they had an option to link a domain name which was perfect, and they even have template tools such a guestbook or a chat log implemented (i might implement those some other time), the founder even followed me on spacehey!

instead of paying monthly for a server that i only managed to utilize a fraction of its power i can now use it for other things i'd be more willing to use.

besides that, not much going on, though i've been really getting into Talking Heads as of late, and i'm thinking about listening to Radiohead eventually, they seem cool.

still alive (+ trip to netherlands)

i haven't been that interested in keeping up with smaller web circles in a while and you can unfortunately tell.

haven't touched this in a while

Ahoy to whoever even cares anymore, looks i didn't, oh how i regret it

Lots have happened in these two months or so, mostly school, god knows i have nothing else to do in this soon-to-be frozen wasteland

First day of school!

today was my first school day, all that happened was a quick introduction and tour of the building and a heads up about getting all the neccessary equipment tomrrow.

A trip to germany!

as you may or may not have noticed, i went to germany for 6 whole days (from the 17th to the 23rd (yes i travelled right before the crowdstrike incident, very lucky i know))! :D

Running communism on top of communism

So, while i was going through IFA Wartburg's vast selection of songs, my interest for Red Star OS rekindled, i tried to run the North Korean macOS bootleg on qemu way back when i was using a mac and it was a complete failure, but now that i've got a laptop that could natively virtulize it, i thought "hey, why not try it out?"

guess who's in finland now!

that would be me, mr. georgemoody. i've moved over here for educational reasons, did an entrance exam for an IB school and i'd say i did pretty alright, just a bit heavier than what i thought, it's a simple residancy permit for now but according to my mom i could acquire a citizenship if i stay here for 4/5 years, i could try to understand finnish in the meantime

Moved websites (again...)

yup, did this again, first it was neocities, now its envs. to be fair, i had a fair few reasons to move out of neocities, it felt a bit restrictive that i had to use their meh html web editor. as for envs, well, i don't want to put all of my eggs in one basket so i felt like moving my website out of there and keeping it for emails and stuff. plus, my envs site will stay as an archive of whatever i could fill it with.
